The New 45.V2 Engine

The New 45.V2 Engine

Aprilia have designed a new revolutionary engine, dedicated to off-road riding. It is a twin cylinder 77° engine, that is ultra compact and light.

It can run up to 14,000 rpm, has a displacement of 450 cc and 4 titanium valves per cylinder.

You will be able to see this engine in the future on their off road machines.

The "Nera"

The Nera is a limited edition RSV 1000 R Factory (see Blog). Only 200 copies will be produced.

It has an added horsepower of 2.7 hp (giving 141 hp - 104 kw - at 10,000 revs/minute), 10 kilos less (total 175 kg) and is built in carbone.
