| 14 June, 2010 - France: Cany-Barville’s Vintage Vehicles Market | At the small provincial town of Cany-Barville in Normandy, France, a few miles from my house, they held last weekend a rather large vintage cars and motorcycle swap-meet, spare parts and exposition gathering.
It was quite an interesting event, with some pristine classic cars and motorcycles.
Who ever said it was boring living in the country?

When I went to KTM to look for what was new, I did notice this beautifully customized KTM 990 Adventure motorcycle. It's ready for a polar adventure ride, including snow tires.

| 3 October, 2009 - Stop/Action: An Interesting Motorcycle Art Display | Our friends at Hell For Leather Magazine have organized a real art exhibit (ie not an internet one), called Stop/Action, in New York.
Until October 11th, you can see Aprilia motorcycle positioned in such a way as they would appear in a movie film; panel-by-panel.
So if you're in New York, head over to the art gallery and have a look. It must be interesting, since it's a novel idea.

There's also a strong rumor floating that Honda and possibly Yamaha will not attend EICMA this year. Bad news...

They plan to integrate the motorcycle show with the annual car exhibition. That leaves only EICMA as major motorcycle show this year.

| 10 April, 2009 - Crisis: Mondial du Deux-Roue In Danger | One of Europe's largest motorcycle exhibitions, the French Mondial du Deux-Roues, is in danger of having some of the top motorcycle manufacturers not attending.
According to the French motorcycle magazine, Moto Journal, Honda, BMW and Yamaha are in doubt. They have not yet cancelled, but their plans are currently unclear, and the required paperwork has not yet been submitted.
It would surely be a pity for a show that is held every 2 years to miss out of these biggies!

| 16 December, 2008 - Revamped Motorcycle Exhibition Of Paris | The Paris motorcycle exhibition, the "Mondial du Deux Roues" is changing their formula for 2009.
Held every two years, they plan to be open for less days, and have less space, but with better content.
Gone are the accessory and secondhand motorcycle sales, gone is the Eco-village. More space is reserved for motorcycle professionals. But the price has not changed for the public.
Let's see how things go, and if they are able to keep the interest going.
