Cancelled because of the financial and economical crisis, and held every 2 years (alternating with the German Intermot), the French expo finally is on again with 375 brands and covering 3 halls.

Born To Ride is billed as a biker movie "a la" Easy Rider. Released in 2011, this 90 minutes long movie centers around two motorcycle riders heading for Sturgis but getting themselves in a lot of trouble.

The flick isn't bad, but it's not great either. It's a movie you'll want to see on a rainy Sunday when there's no football on the TV.

Both biker and car driver lost their vehicles, license and have a date with a judge.

Joey Ruiter set out to redesign the motorcycle. He stripped off all the things that make a motorcycle interesting, and made it a means of transportation. He placed an electric engine in the motorcycle, giving it a 90 miles range. But you can rest ... it's just a design, not meant to be taken in to production. In fact, you can admire this "stealth" motorcycles in the Grand Rapids Art Museum.

The now famous motorcycle parade in Auckland, New Zealand, "Boobs on Bikes" - a parade of topless strippers on motorcycles - got cancelled due to pressure from the people.

The parade was going to be held at the same time the World Rugby Cup match between their national team, the All Blacks, and France's national team was going to be played. People wanted a family environment, and topless strippers on motorcycles was not the way to go.

The new "version" is initially foreseen for the Indian market, but might be exported abroad. The version name is destined as reminder of the first Gulf War, and the motorcycle is painted in desert colors.
