#Agusta - You don't get to see many TV commercials from MV Agusta, and I don't even know if this is a "real" advertisement for the F4 RR super motorcycle, but it's kind-of cool.

You get to see close ups of the Italian motorcycle with the sounds that resembles that of jet fighters talking, and then you see the MV Agusta in its natural environment, the race track.

MV Agusta, as we all know, is not only a super fast and sleek sportsmotorcycle, but a very good looking one; sexy, sleek and pretty. In fact, most MV Agusta motorcycles belong not only on a race track, but in a museum.

That's probably why the company decided to showcase their motorcycles in a museum style display at Eicma. You had to enter in one area, exit in the other. The halls are all pristine white, and all their motorcycles are displayed like works of art, works of art that they are. Indirect lighting, corridors, hushed talking; it all reminds you of a visit to a museum (if you ever do).

The current CEO of MV Agusta, and man credited for re-launching Cagiva and Ducati, Claudio Castiglioni, has died this morning in a clinic in Italy.

A special man in a special industry. He will be missed.

MV Agusta have signed a deal with Lifan Industry Group to have their motorcycle distributed in China.

The high-end motorcycles will start entering the dealer's showroom by the end of the year.

Harley-Davidson has announced that it is closing down Buell motorcycles, end of the line for the motorcycle manufacturer.

Harley also announced that it is going to sell off Mv Agusta in a restructuring effort to stay alive.

To me, here on the sidelines, it looks like a marriage made in hell. What can Agusta bring to Harley? Harley is already on shaky financial grounds. Someone with a double PhD in economics please explain....
