New Bike For Me
#Honda #Goldwing - Last Saturday my SWMBO and myself went shopping in the city of Le Havre. We arrived in the morning too late to start her shopping spree, and too early for lunch, so I decided to have a look at the Honda motorcycle dealer on the way. I thought it would be a nice way to spend 90 minutes before eating lunch and then hitting the shops (shops close for lunch here in France).

We walked in, and surprise surprise, there was a beautiful motorcycle standing in showroom which drew both our immediate and unadulterated attention; a Honda GL1800 Goldwing.

I had been wanting a Goldwing for quite some time now, but aside of the high price, I was never able to justify myself (or SWMBO) that it made sense buying one. This GL1800 is pre-owned (by an old lady who only used to to ride to church on Sundays....), from 2006 with only 50,000 kilometers on the counter...........

Peeing on a speed radar
#Funny #Radar #Pee -I'm off on a trip for a few days, back on Tuesday afternoon if everything goes well (traveling in Europe usually means things don't go as planned). I've programmed a series of articles to keep you amused and interested, so no zapping!

The first speed radar I see will get this treatment. I wonder what kind of a fine I'd get? Probably all they can do is public urination, or would it be destruction of public property?

New Year 2013
Happy New Year 2013 to all of you, that your year may be full of pleasant surprises, fantastic motorcycle rides, happiness and cheer.

We're ready for another year, and over the last few days I've "redesigned" the site. Redesigned is a big word, it's more that I stripped all superfluous graphics and information to make it load faster, and to enable comments again.

The only problem I continue to have is with Microsoft Internet Explorer. They are such a pain in the proverbial ass that I've put a warning when you read an article on its own, with instructions on how to make the page readable under Micro$oft. Sorry, but I've given up on them.

Let me know if the "design" works for you. I'll leave the site as is until next Monday, ie, I'm still on holiday until then.
