Ducati are rumored (but good rumored) to release their new dual purpose motorcycle as the Multistrada 1200.

4 different models are seen, the standard Multistrada 1200, the S version, the T version (with panniers and top case), and the T version with more off-road capabilities.

130 hp, lots of options, like ABS, etc...

November the 9th will see the truth...

BMW is being rumored for developing a Honda Goldwing-killer. They are preparing a 1600 (maybe even 1800) cc, 6 cylinder engine so power a new luxury touring motorcycle.

According to a one-liner in a news snippet, a bunch of Harley-Davidson motorcycles were riding around the 2009 Film Festival of Cannes in an attempt to drum up finances for a sequel to the cult biker movie "Easy Rider".

BMW, under the "Project I" think-tank, are designing a new ecological motorcycle/scooter for 2012.

Based on the C1 scooter concept, the bike will have a roof, transport 2 people, not require a helmet, and will have some form of alternative fuel engine.

It's rumor time again. Volkswagen have let it be known that they are interested in increasing their product portfolio by supplementing it with a motorcycle manufacturer. According to sources, Ducati is their target.

Ferdinand Piech, the Chairman of Volkswagen (and grandson of Porche) also happens to be a passionate Ducati motorcycle rider. Coincidence?

After BMW enormous sales of their R1200GS, there's a good a chance we'll be seeing a 1200cc version of this motorcycle.

There's a very strong rumor going around that Ducati is about to buy into the Spanish off-road motorcycle manufacturer GasGas.

In contrast with BMW's purchase of Husqvarna, Ducati have no off-road motorcycles, and GasGas does not have any street motorcycles.
