We have also seen other, often weird, applications for our favorite two wheelers. But this one beats them all. Here is one way of using a Vespa scooter you would never have thought off.

Christmas is a great time, but usually it's dark in the morning, and therefore difficult to get out of bed. I think we all suffer from this. Standard alarm clocks will probably do the job, but they are nowhere as stylish as this Christmas gift.

The Vespa headlight alarm clock.... very stylish, like their scooter. The clock's shape was inspired by the very first and original Vespa scooter's headlight, so you can't go wrong...........

In a very well done, even at times very funny, video take on the Kama Sutra and motorcycles. In other words in this Russian video, you get to see "What if a motorcycle was a sexual position?". You get to see all types of motorcycles and their sexual position explained. Don't worry, there's no talking, so you'll not need to translate the Russian.

Don't worry, the video is SFW, except your colleagues might be bothered with your laughing. I love the Tourer Motorcycle position....

Here's a very nicely done TV commercial from a London based Vespa dealer, R. Agius Scooter. It's a funky little animation why people should get a Vespa scooter to beat the enormous forecasted traffic jams in London during the Olympics.

Even the underground is not going to help; nor will the "Boris Bikes". The only solution to getting to work is a scooter, preferably a Vespa.

Most women, and some men I know, have jewelry that when not used, needs to be stored. Placing them around the house will automatically imply that you'll need to search for them at a later stage.

If you are frustrated with all those SUVs not taking care of other vehicles on the road because they don't need to, here's your chance to get even.Or at least vent some frustration.

During the France - Algeria War, Vespa made this unique scooter for the French military. It was designed to make cannons more mobile and access difficult terrain by parachuting them into combat. So they equipped a Vespa scooter with a real cannon. 800 of these mobile cannon were made and deployed in Algeria.

The bazooka-scoot was stored on an Army base in Messina, Italy. It comes "as is", and can not fire, but any SUV-driving-soccer-mom will not know that when she's facing the business end of the cannon.

The Vespa is up for auction on Saturday 12 May

Despite a rather predictable, but still funny TV commercial, the Vespa Perfect Curves is not bad, depending on when it was made. You know when you see the guy exulting the virtues of the body, curves and that he must mount her, that he's not talking about the pretty & sexy girl.

Still, it's worth a giggle.
