Great Motorcycle Sunglasses

I finally bought "THE" motorcycle sunglasses !! I have been looking for years for a proper pair, ones that will wrap around and stop the wind from going into my eyes, and have never found a good pair. Oh yes, there are many great sunglasses out there that will do the trick, but I have prescription glasses, so that means that I can't have motorcycle sunglasses that are "round".

In comes Adidas. Adidas, well known for its sportswear, shoes, balls, etc, have an extensive line of sunglasses meant for sports. They have three models that fit the bill for what I wanted.

So, I found a store that ordered the new Adidas Elevation ClimaCool for me to try, and just went to pick them up. Absolutely fantastic !! Let me explain why I'm euphoric !

1. The glass are very, very, light!
2. They wrap around the front of your head
3. They have an optional insert for your prescription glasses (ie, the insert is made to measure)
4. They have a removable foam cover on the inside that protects your eyes from wind & dust, but still allows for ventilation
5. They come with whatever shade sunglasses you order (they have several different colors) AND with an additional pair of fog lenses
6. The lenses are easy to remove and change (click & slide)
7. They come with a headband which can replace the standard stems (click & slide)
8. The prescription insert comes with a nose piece so you can use it for an emergency glass
9. The sunglass sack can be used for cleaning your glasses
10. They come in a very sturdy hardcase

I've just come back from a quick test. On the autoroute went over the speed limit (will not tell you by how much since the Police could be reading this ;-) and drove all the way without the visor. In town, visor open, the glasses did not fog up at all.

Best investment I've made for a motorcycle accessory!
