Italian motorcycle manufacturer, Aprilia, as most manufacturers perform a lot of design studies for future products. They often enlist the help of design schools to study new forms of motorcycles. From the hundreds of design studies, maybe one or two actually see it in some shape to the production line. The rest of the studies are there just to be admired.
Here is one of Aprilia's designs for a motorcycle with three wheels, better known as a trike. The animal is called "Magnet" and has been designed by Finnish designer Heikki Naulapaa.
Although if you look at it initially, it looks no better than your average soapbox on wheels, a closer look shows you that this would indeed be a neat idea. Not exactly practical, but cool looking !
