Last month I wrote up a small article on using decals on your motorcycle to enhance your safety {link}. I thought it was a nifty idea, and doesn't cost much. So instead of getting pre-cut decals, I got some tape from StreetGlo and decided to put them on my motorcycle.

Now I was borne with two left hands, so what would be very simple for most of you, often turns out to be difficult for me (I once put paint into an engine thinking it was oil...).

StreetGlo's reflective tape
So I placed the reflective tape on my Touratech Zega cases and on the back of the BMW's topcase. You can barely see the tape in the daylight, but when you shine a light on them ... wooow ... they really appear.

You can see it on the two photos I took. They don't do the product any favors, since a) my handiwork is useless and b) I took the photos in daylight. But you can see the tape lighting up when you shine a light on them.

The thing I like is that you don't really see the decals (unless you want them to, then you get colors that are visual) unless you're riding at night, and someone comes up behind you... then you'll see them !! Jus what I needed.

Now, I'm going to go crazy and try to put the tape on more places.... Picasso move over !!
