The "Tour de France" on a motorcycle race, the Moto-Tour, has opened for registrations. If you're interested in participating in this crazy road race, you'd better hurry since the number of contestants is limited to 240 motorcycles (80 in the expert category, and 160 in the amateur category). The race will be held from the 23rd of September until the 2nd of October. If you don't know what the Moto-Tour is, click here for a previous article I wrote: This year's race (the itinerary will be communicated in the summer) will be approximately 2700 kilometers, and will have one night run and will involve several motorcycle racing circuits. If you've every dreamed of legally racing on the French country roads, and not get caught by the police, this is your chance. As in every year, there will be several celebrity racers. It's a safe bet that the start of the race will be at the last day of the "Mondial de la Moto" motorcycle exhibition in Paris. Since it's one of the biggest motorcycle shows in Europe, they'd be sure to get a lot of publicity (the 2003 race started there). Click here to access the Moto-Tour website for the inscription and rules forms (everything is in French).
