It looks like the Round The World trip for the two actors last year wasn't enough {link} {link} {link}. Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman are currently looking at travelling through Africa on their motorcycles.
Last year, they travelled from London to New York on their BMW R1150GS motorcycles (albeit with a support crew, cars, doctor, etc). So now they want to attack Africa. I wonder what they will bring with them this time... helicopters ? mobile homes ??
Also, Charley Boorman has stated that he's interested in doing the Dakar race in 2006, but with a good support crew. He was at the Dakar 2005 race to see how it worked. They are also planning to film a documentary of the race. That might be a movie I'd be interested in...
