In France, The French Motorcycle Federation (FFM) has organized the Dream Cup. Dream Cup is a new motorcycle race held at the "Circuit Carole" (close to Paris). What's so special about this race is that it's for females only!
The idea is to promote females race riders. Anyone can participate, even beginners. You need to have a valid riding license and be 16 years or older. There are three categories planned: - Category 1: 4 cylinders, 600cc
- Category 2: 2 cylinders, less that 750 cc
- Category 3: 2 cylinders, 500cc
The motorcycles must be in road legal condition, with a few exceptions. The race is held at the "Circuit Carole", a suburb of Paris. Costs are 110 Euros. The race is held over the weekend of the 19th and 20th of June.
The 20th and 21st of April, a special training session is held at the circuit for all those that have registered. The circuit is reserved exclusively for the weekend for the riders who will be participating in the race. Cost: 286 Euros. Participation is NOT mandatory.
