	Le Touquet Enduropale 2007 - The Race Part 2 12 February 2007   File under  Racing   Author: Mike Werner   Location: Normandy, France Le Touquet Enduropale 2007 Photos Photos of the Le Touquet Enduropale motorcycle beach enduro are available ! (for part 1 click here) When we needed to go to the other side of the circuit, two nice Police officers offered to take us there in their Police four-wheel drive. You can see the competitors coming through the window. During the first wave, there were many bodies and motorcycles lying around. Many riders after crashing were trying to get out of the way of the wild riders coming through. Not an easy task when you're hurt. The support vehicles come and triage the wounded. The worst get taken away in a helicopter, the rest by ambulance. The ones that can make it on their own, are brought to the first aid tents. Sometimes there are so many bodies lying around, the medical staff can't see them, and the press photographer needs to draw their attention. Help has arrived. Bodies and bikes get loaded and removed as quickly as possible. The circuit has several chicanes. ..and long straights full of bumps.. Here is Potisek riding like the devil is on his tail... David Knight in full swing. #14 Rudy Vergriete # 120 Stephan Delettre spraying whoever is behind him. Crashing in the chicane. Riding over another motorcycle. #59 Sergei Potisek (there are three Potisek's running in the race, all family). Getting crowded in the chicane. And with crowded motorcycles, you get crashes. At times it's very difficult to see.. #856 David Charles Timotei Potisek passing everyone, like a stroll in the park. #412 Mathieu Goupil Attacking the curve. #413 Julien Roux The longer the race, the more accidents due to tired riders.
