Incredible !! Respect !! Charlie Parks, an 84 year old motorcyclist completed the Four Corners Motorcycle Tour in the USA. What is the Four Corners tour, and why the respect you may ask ...? The Four Corners tour is a motorcycle ride of the four corners of the USA - Washington - Maine - Florida - California. The tour distance is about 8500 miles in a maximum of 21 days !!! With the trip you need to take riding from wherever your home is to one of the four starting points, count about 9000 miles, so an average of 425 miles per day. That's 680 kilometers per day, for 21 days !! Click here for more information on the Four Corners Motorcycles Tour ! Last year, San Diego resident Charlie Parks, an 84 year old biker, rode the tour in 17 days on his brand new BMW K1200GT ! And he had to battle the hurricane Charley and Frances while he was in the South. And after finishing the Four Corners tour, he went and visited some family in Illinois. His little trip lasted 11,000 miles over 29 days (17700 Kilometers). And at that age when most people just want to sit in-front of the TV and take it easy !! Not bad !! That's what I want to be when I finally grow up !!! A real biker ! Click here to read more about his motorcycle ride
