Motorcycle Sports Helmets Being Banned in Mindanao, Philippines ? 26 February 2004   File under  News   Author: Mike Werner   Location: Paris, France In Zamboanga City, Mindanao, the Philippines, the city is considering banning sportshelmets for motorcycles !! Only open faced helmets will be allowed ! And the reason.....: A local lawyer was gunned down by two assassins riding a motorcycle. And when the witnesses could not identify the shooters since they were wearing sportshelmets, the local town council, supported by the police, wants to ban helmets were you can only see the eyes of the person in it.
