It's been a while that we've seen any motorcycle manufacturer coming from the country of milk, cheese and lots of speeding tickets. The last one I remember is the electric motorcycle, the Quantya {link}. That motorcycle was really innovative. Now, the surprising Swiss are working on a "normal" motorcycle. Named DUSS (after its creator Roland Duss), the motorcycle has a 90° V2 engine, developping 120 hp. The motorcycle is a SuperMotard style bike, ie, road, track and off-road capabilities. The motorcycle only weights 145 Kgs, so with its 120 hp, I'd dare say it's fast. The design is a bit spartan, specially if you consider that its competition is Ducati's HyperMotard. Not much else is known about the motorcycle. Their own website is like the motorcycle, spartan. A lot is still under construction. Price: Not cheap CHF 42,990 (or about € 26,500 or US$ 35,000 at today's exchange rates). Not exactly a price for a motorcycle you'd use as second bike. No information is currently available on availability, deliveries and dealers.
