Scary !! Yamaha motorcycles has to recall 190,000 motorcycle in the USA because the pillion seat can fall off (WITH the pillion on it!). Apparently, if the passengers shifts their weight around on the XV250, XVS11 and XVS65 motorcycles (those built between 1988 and 2005), the seat can loosen itself from the motorcycle, and cause it to fall off.
Most pillion passenger are already scared that if you accelerate to fast on your motorcycle, that they may flip off;- but with this problem, not only WILL they flip off, but they can take part of your motorcycle with you....ouch !!
