On Saturday, Trish (my wife) and myself went to a biker protest rally in Rouen (Normandy). These protests were organized throughout France by the FFMC (the French Angry Biker Association) to protest the proposed laws that will make bike riding more difficult and restrictive than ever before !! The sun was splitting the rocks, so we spent a good hour and half talking with other bikers while they all were streaming in in groups of 20 to 50 bikes. At the end, when we left after 45 minutes delay, we were about 2,000+ bikers !!! While riding at a snail pace through Rouen, blocking all traffic, we arrived at the Town Hall, where we stopped and had some speeches. 2,000 Bikers stopping at one place is an impressive sight: Unfortunately, after the Town Hall we went up a hill, and because of the very slow pace, I burned my clutch, but managed to limp home. Clutch is FUBAR !
