After the UK's CATSeye GPS tracking device {link}, here's one from the USA. Called AnyTrack, the small, 2.6 ounce device uses GPS and cellular telephone (GSM) technology. The unit comes with a web tracking service, that allows you to monitor where the device is at any given moment. Since the AnyTrack is really small, it can fit almost anywhere (tank or side bags, under the saddle). The GPS tracker is water proof. The battery will last 3 weeks in standby mode, regular update request will use up the batteries much faster (the batteries are rechargeable). Thanks to both the GPS and GSM capabilities, you can not only track the device outdoors, but also indoors. If the unit can't receive a GPS signal, it can use GSM triangulation methods to determine where it is. When you want to find out where it is, go to their website (anytrack.net), login, and get a map that shows you to within a few feet where the device is located. The AnyTrack service is priced in two ways, Lite (occasional tracking) costing you US$ 14.95 per month and Frequent (regular tracking) will set you back US$19.95 per month. Each pricing plan comes with a limited number of tracking requests. Additional "credits" can be purchased on-line. The unit itself will cost US$ 199 and there's a US$ 29 activation fee. As with the UK CATSeye, you'll be able to not only track your motorcycle, but also children, pets, cars or anything that's valuable to you. Click here to access their website.
