GPS
According to the recent study performed by the Dutch Technology Research Institute, TNO, riding (or more accurate driving) with a GPS decreases your chances of an accident by 12%!! My guess would be that this applies to motorcycles as much as it would to cages.

TNO based their research on a study of 36 drivers, and a statistics database of leased cars that were/weren't equipped with an integrated GPS. They found that not only are there less accidents for the people with a GPS, there was also less stress and more alertness by the driver. With a GPS, you can spend all your energy on watching the road. People equipped with a GPS felt that they were in control.

Obviously, people driving with a GPS, specially when looking for an address, spent 16% less kilometers, and 18% less time on the road.
