Yes, I know that the sound of a perfectly tuned motorcycle is like music to most of our ears, but here's real motorcycle music. UK based Bennetts motorcycle insurance group have started a real orchestra made out of motorcycles! The Bennetts Bike Orchestra is a serious attempt to increase awareness of motorcycles on the road. The operation is called "Rev for a Reason", and consists of an ensemble of motorcycles (and their riders) together with real musicians, the most famous one being none other than World SuperBike Champion James Toseland (who is a classical pianist by training). They are led by Stephen Montague, winner of the International Piano award. Bikers were asked to audition for a part of the orchestra. The only instrument they needed to be able to play was the "motorcycle". To see the auditions, and for more information about the "rev for a reason" action, click here. The Bennetts Bike Orchestra performed in front of the Royal Albert Hall in London, and at the British SuperBike race in Donington. To see a video of the orchestra playing, click here (Site: The Sun. Turn up the volume ! The sound you hear in the beginning are NOT waves !). It's actually very nice, and a good way of bringing some attention to our safety. Would I buy a CD of the orchestra:- Nope...
