Last Sunday, some 7,000 motorcycles took part in a protest ride in the French capital, protesting against the government's proposed law that enforces Daylight Running Lights for all cars. The French Association of Angry Motorcyclists (FFMC) have called for the protest since they deem it dangerous for motorcycles, as they will no longer be seen when passing cars. Currently, cars do not have their lights on during the day, but motorcycles do. The protest ride blocked Paris traffic for several hours !
