Not that I encourage using trailers for transporting motorcycles, but at times, you have no choice. So you're faced with the possibility to go out and buy a full fledged trailer, either specific for motorcycles or a general one adapted for motorcycles. Or... you can get yourself this trailer setup: The UndertakerMTS. The UndertakerMTS is hooked up to the rear of your car (truck/pickup). The front wheel of your motorcycle is mounted onto the "trailer", while the rear wheels stay on the road. You effectively pull your motorcycle.
The advantages are numerous for a system like this: - Easy to take off and store (even in the car)
- No maintenance
- Light weight
- Carry it behind your motorhome/Caravan
Of course, the disadvantages are that you can only haul your motorcycle and nothing else, and you'll get a bit more wear & tear on the motorcycle rear tires, but if you're not going long distance, it shouldn't be a problem. The system is handy for bringing the motorcycle to the race track, or to the dealer when the bike is broken. It doesn't take up as much space in the garage as a real trailer would. Price: US$ 329.
