A French motorbiker magazine reports that in the city of "Le Var", and in the department of the "Yvelines" a trial has started with undercover cops riding normal motorcycles. These cops are to "spy" on traffic offenders. This is done by radio to a police car that is hidden away somewhere. The police car than comes up and stops the car that has broken the rules (usually for skipping a red light).
The French Angry Biker Association (FFMC) has endorsed this trial, since it means that cars now will pay even more attention to bikers, since the biker may be a cop. As the biker cop is foremost a biker, he'll (or she) tend to leave us bikers alone (unless we do something really stupid).
