April 2005, Los Angeles. Police were chasing a suspect on a motorcycle. They couldn't catch him, when suddenly a motorcycle cop arrived and started chasing the suspect.
The chase was followed by news helicopters and televised. During the aggressive wild chase, the "police officer" veered twice on to the sidewalk, ran several red lights and at the end disappeared into the night.
The police are currently trying to find out who the cop was. Personally, I think they'll eventually discover that it wasn't a cop, but someone who made a "police motorcycle" and decided to be a cop.....and since he couldn't arrest the suspect, just gave up.
