Firefighters on Motorcycles 12 May 2003   File under  News Uniformed   Author: Mike Werner   Location: Paris, France The English MotorcycleNews (MCN) report that the English government is thinking about using motorcycles for their fire service brigades. Apparently the fire services are called out on a regular basis to investigate if their services are required (and which cars to send in), and often they are not. Sending in a car takes too much time, something that can be cut short by using a motorcycle !! This is creative thinking from a government !!!! Applause !! Plans are to introduce the bikes in November 2003 !! I'll be interested to see what manufacturer they will use....
