Here's a biker that deserves respect ! Going on a RTW on a Harley Davidson Sportser is tough. Anyone who rides long distance on a motorcycle will tell you that. But David Barr's challenge was greater than most; he has had his two legs amputated after he drove over a landmine in the military ! This didn't stop David from his dream ride. He rode 83,000 miles around the world with two artificial legs ! Now if that doesn't merit respect, nothing will. The trip took him three-and-a-half years, and took him through 6 continents. His Harley has been adapted with a special braking system. David has written several books on the subject. He's continuing riding long distances, recently having ridden his motorcycle across Australia, or through frozen Northern Europe, Russia and Siberia. Click here to visit his website.
