American Congress wants to KILL all motorcyclists

Well... not really, but close enough. The US Congress are voting on a bill that will allow motorcyclists to go through red lights !!!! As long as the biker looks in both directions (duuuuuuuh). Apparently this is because many red lights in the US work on metal detection, and since most modern bikes don't have much metal, they need to wait a long time at a red light !!

I'm for all sorts of liberties (being Dutch ...) but this is crazy. It is going to kill a lot of bikers who do not pay attention..... And there are several portions of the law that state that it only applies to those lights that use metal detection, so they'll need to put signs up.
