New products seem to be hitting the market with an increasing frequency. I still remember that a few years ago, if you broke the plastic bits of your motorcycle, the only choice you really had was get a new one, or pay a lot of money for a specialist. Today, you can do it yourself. Ricardo Kuhn had already written on this site about doing a repair using metal wire {link}, and I had written in February about Util Plastics {link}. Here's another way of repairing your plastic bits. Repair Plastic.com have a product to rebuild your precious motorcycle in 15 minutes. What I like, is that they have detailed instructions on how to do it. For someone like me, who is as un-mechanical as anyone can be, it looks "easy". But then, I put paint into my car once thinking it was oil, so what do I know.. On their site, they show you how to repair motorcycle fenders, tail section, fairings, and even how to custom produce a fender. All that with a lot of images. It really looks simple. Prices range from $5.95 to $77.95 for their repair kits, depending on the size. Their stuff work on almost any surface; plastic, metal, wood, stone, etc. So it's not only for motorcycles, it's for any repair you need to do. Click here to read more.
