It almost sounds like a joke....The Italian sportscar manufacturer Lamborghini have donated one of their cars, a Gallardo, to the Italian State Police (Highway patrol) !!!
This super sportscar is painted in the State Police colors, and equipped with sirens and flashing lights ! It also has medical emergency equipment onboard and some other technical gadgets (it can also be used for transportation of urgent medical supplies/organs).
So, if you're thinking about speeding on the Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway with your fast motorcycle, you might want to reconsider. The 500 bhp Lamborghini has a top speed of 185 mph !!
Now I'm stuck with 2 questions; 1) Who's paying for the gas ?? and 2) Who's the lucky devil who gets to patrol the roads in this car ???
