Kawasaki won for the 2nd year {link} in a row the MASTER BIKE motorcycle award attributed by Spanish publication Motociclismo, together with 16 European, American and Japanese magazines.
Riders from each publication tested all motorcycles and awarded points. 40% of the points went to the fastest lap, 40% to the fastest lap of each individual pilot and 20% of the points are awarded by the individual rider's opinion.
Three motorcycle categories were in play; Supersport, Superbike and Maxisport. Each category finalists went to Final category, the Master Bike.
