The biker, Andrew Osborne (31 years), whose self-made video tape of him doing 157 mph on the motorway in the UK, and was used as evidence, is now in court. The police found the tape, confiscated it, and is using it as evidence of the 'fasted' anyone has ever done in the UK. The footage showed that he was doing 175 mph, the speed cameras recorded 157 !!!
Andrew was riding a Kawasaki 1200, while his fellow rider was clocked at 148 mph on a Kawasaki 750. The maximum speed authorized was 70 mph.
Now how are they going to get out of that fine ??? Honest your Honor, I thought was not going over the speed limit, it was only a little bit over.... !!
