Yesterday was the changing of the guard at Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati.. Frederico Minoli was replaced by Gabriele Del Torchio.
Del Torchio has been President and CEO at APS (a multi-utility service company that provides gas, water, electricity, public transport, telecoms and waste management services to the Padua region in Italy) and until recently (1st of July 2005) at The Ferretti Group, one of the world leading companies in designing and building luxury motor yachts and sporting boats.
So it looks like he has experience in the world of designing top end vehicles, which is a good thing. Let's hope he handles Ducati well.
