 By the looks of it, it would seem that female motorcycle riders are now as common as rain in Normandy (and that is a good thing; female bikers and rain in Normandy). It's has become so mainstream that there's now the very first Female Motorcycle Exposition. The expo, held 3 and 4 June at the Gold Country Fairgrounds, Auburn, California (where else, but in the USA). Tickets will cost you $30 per person for the two day event, including live music (the group AC/DShe and several other bands). Some 10,000 people are expected. During the two day event, there are several "seminars": - How to Pick Up Your Bike;
- Lane Splitting;
- How to Deal with Inseam Challenges, i.e. Vertically Challenged People Can Ride any Bike!;
- Long Distance Riding/Riding in Heat/Cold/Rain;
- Motorcycle Crash Scene Management;
- Torque vs. Horsepower;
- I am New to Riding, What Bike Should I Buy?;
- Mechanics 101
Obviously, the expo is not for females only, men are invited. So bring yours with you....sounds like a fun event ! Click here to access the website and learn more about the event.
