The Erzberg Motorcycle race in Austria has been held last weekend, and what a race it was (click here to see a video of last year's race). Spread out over 4 days, the attrition race only had the very best of the best finish the race. Out of the 1074 racers, only a few managed to finish the race.
In the main category, you could see all the big names of the motorcycle off road world; Cyril Despres, David Knight, Simo Kirssi, Chris Pfeiffer, Jimmy Lewis, Jeremy McGrath, Travis Pastrana and Giovanni Sala.
There were several events, from Twins, to Hare Scrambles. David Knight on a KTM managed to win two events, the Hare Scramble and the "Kings" Twin class on the 25th.
The Prolog was won by Kirssi on his BMW HP2, and the other HP2s did very well.
