On my way to Switzerland I pulled in to a gas station close to Dijon. While
I was filling up the bike, I spotted a "strange" bike at the
rest stop. While tanking I was giving the bike a look-over. Big bike, large
engine block (like a BMW K series or Honda Goldwing), a sort-of Telelever,
but with very large dampers on the side (horizontal). It had a Honda logo
on the side, but it didn't look like a Honda, but it didn't look like a
BMW either. The current Telelever works fine, so why would they change
it ??
While I was filling the tank, the rider of the mystery bike went to one
of two, totally black vans, pulled open the rear door, and I spotted a
complete tool set and mechanic work station !!
So I dismounted and walked to the bike. The rider spotted me coming, jumped
on his bike, and took off !! A few seconds later, both vans pulled off
and followed the rider !! My camera was in the topcase, and by the time
I had it out, they were gone !!
