I was looking at stories to amuse you all with, when I stumbled upon this image (read on until the end):

What caught my attention was that the story said he was with actor Ewan McGregor on Sunday June the 3rd, IN NAIROBI!
And sure enough, the next photo article has Branson riding with both actors McGregor and Boorman:

So the dateline is June the 3rd, but McGregor and Boorman only left Europe recently.
This didn't look right.. no way they could have made it to Kenya in that short time. So, Google is your friend...
...and sure enough, on the BBC site there's a blog {link} and a map with their current position.
So, on the same day they have a photo shoot with Richard Branson in Nairobi, Kenya, they are supposed to be in a sand storm in Libya.
Something is screwed up here. I guess what happened is that a helicopter picked the two actors up in Libya, flew them to an airport, boarded a private plane to Nairobi, went out on the town with Branson, did their photos, and are now heading back to the rough life of "motorcycling".
Or did I miss something ???? Can it be that AP News put the wrong date (I doubt that very much) Who is kidding who here????
