ZMoto Palm software for motorcycle owners
The popular Palm software, ZMoto, has been released as version 7.0.

ZMoto is the free (yes, free) software for motorcycle owners that runs on the Palm PDA (the software, not the motorcycle).

Figure out how much you're paying for your motorcycle(s), or when you need to service your precious motorcycle next. Remember the name of that mechanic that was really good 2 years ago when he serviced your bike ? How much fuel have you been using on average on your trip ? Remember the suspension settings you have on your bike for specific conditions! etc etc...

All this information is of interest if you're running one motorcycle, but crucial when you have multiple bikes.

Key features include:

  • Default settings for Standard, Metric or UK Metric
  • Configurable bike settings
  • Database forms for routine service, oil and tire changes
  • Scheduled service reminder alert
  • Create records for your trips, including fuel averages
  • Separate forms for scheduled services, torque settings and parts database
  • Database export, including DOC, Memo Pad and CVS files
  • Conversion calculator

Click here to access the site, and download the free software.

I used the version 6 and had very little problems on my Tungsten E. When I downloaded the v7, the screen freezes when I select the calculator, the E locks up when I select scheduled services. I deleted it because I was tired of re starting my E with a bent paperclip! This version may be one to skip for the otherwise kinda neat program Zmoto.
