As mentioned 2 weeks ago {link}, Frederico Minoli, the former CEO of Ducati, was auctioning off for charity (Riders for Health) a lot of the memorabilia from his office.
The auctions are closed, and guess who got the original drawing of the study of the Ducati Hypermotard (ie one of the drawings the Ducati designers made when making the Hypermotard)...... yep... ME !!
I bid €262 for the drawing. I've not exactly hidden the fact that I'm in love with the motorcycle, and although I can't buy one just yet, at least I now have part of the history of the motorcycle.
Once it arrives, it'll be framed nicely and hung up in my office. Not only do I have a great and historical drawing, I've also help a deserving charity.
