It looks like the country of the famous All Blacks (the mythical Rugby team - {link}) will get another item of notice; their own MotoGP circuit !
New Zealand's Taupo race track is being upgraded to host one of the MotoGP events for next year. They are a candidate for one of next year's MotoGP races. Taupo is located in the Northern Island of New Zealand.
The new track really looks the business; one very long straight line, several high speed curves and great viewing angles for the public. A MotoGP event brings about €18 million into the local economy, so it's a worthwhile investment.
