Paris Parking Guide
Paris used to be quite motorcycle friendly, with motorcycles allowed to park anywhere on sidewalks as long as they didn't disturb pedestrians. But things are evolving to the detriment of the biker ({link} and {link}).

More and more Paris districts (arrondissements) are putting in place special motorcycle parkings. When they are full, you can't park on the sidewalk. And parking in a car place is not recommended (unless you want to find your precious motorcycle on the ground when you come back).

You can park in public parking garages. Many are free to motorcycles (if you can pass through the barriers with your motorcycle, then it's free). But finding one, specially when travelling from abroad can be quite daunting.

Now, there's a special publication listing all parking garages in Paris. The book contains detailed information about the garage (hours, capacity, location, maps, etc) so you can plan your trip. The book is meant for cars, but it obviously also works for motorcycles.

On top of that, the authors have a website (in English), where you can actually locate parking garages close to the tourist attractions or hotels.

The book costs 15€ and if you need to travel to Paris, it can be quite handy.
