Last Saterday, a Nigerian motorbiker who was transporting stolen kerosene from a broken fuel-line at Onicha Amiyi-Uhu, Nigeria, caused the massive explosion when his motorcycle produced a spark and ignited the flowing kerosene from the pipeline.

The pipeline had been punctured by thieves, and local people where filling canisters with the spilling kerosene . The motorbiker had just filled a jerrican when his motorcycle caused the fuel leaking out of the pipeline to explode and thereby roasting the locals. The photo on your right shows the carcass of the motorcycle.

The latest count is 105 people dead and growing according to the Nigerian Red Cross. Oil fires such as this one is a frequent occurrence in Nigeria, where local people rob fuel out of the pipelines and accidentally set the pipeline on fire killing hundreds of people..
