Looks like I missed a great race on 11 and 12 June. Organized annually in Chablis, France (famous for their Chablis wine), this motorcycle enduro race is for COUPLES !! Called the "Coupe des Couples" (meaning Couples Cup), you don't need to be married, you can just be friends, but the race consists of a man and a woman teaming up to ride together the race !
You ride as a team (each on their own motorcycle), in other words, you need to go through the check-points together !! Which also means that all obstacles need to be ridden as a team !!
Very interesting !! Specially when you consider that in this year's race some 80 couples attended, and the winner was no one less... than Ludivine Puy (Dakar fame {link}) and Olivier Chave both riding Gas Gas motorcycles.
