Not motorcycle related, but it shows the state of minds of the parking authorities in Toronto, Canada. A couple's car was parked outside during a storm, which caused a tree to fall and block the car.
You probably guessed what happened next. A parking meter maid ticketed the car, since local city ordinance does not allow cars to be parked after midnight. But since the car couldn't be moved, the owners did not have much choice.
It just proves my theory; parking meter staff are hired for their lack of I.Q., no common sense, lack of humor and missing bits of their anatomy.

Note: I probably should say that during my 20 years in France, I have gathered 1923 parking tickets.
