German made Bags-Connection have a series of motorcycle tank bags that hook up into the 12V electrical system of your motorcycle, and charge your special accessories. Quite nifty, you can charge your iPod, phone, cameras, etc. while riding. Instead of having wires all over your motorcycle, and remembering to remove them when you park, just remove your tank bag. Everything is in the bag! The tank bag become, more or less, a power hub on your motorcycle. A special holder is mounted on your fuel tank filler using a special socket that is secured to the tank. Therefore, you need to order based specifically on your motorcycle model. Several model exist, depending on your motorcycle and requirements. Using this method, you can release the bag in seconds when you need to fill up the motorcycle. So, there are no straps or magnets involved! The bag holder uses the power supply from the motorcycle's electrical system. 12V power is delivered into the tank bag via the Dual Power Supply outlet, which has one regular ‘cigar-lighter’ socket and additional smaller BSK 12 outlet. For safety, a relay ensures that power is only delivered to the socket when an accessory is plugged into it. Not only do they have the tank bags, but they also offer special accessories, such as map lights, internal bag lights and GPS mounting brackets (to mount your GPS on your tank bag). An average tank bag will cost you about €89, the map light €39 and the GPS mount €29.90. Click here to access their website (German and English versions)
