Very Exciting !!
Remember the concept motorcycle Yamaha showed at the 1999 Tokyo motorcycle show, the MT-01 ?? It was the talk of the show.
Well, it is being brought into production !!
Launch date is September 14th (Munich's Intermot - this is going to be a very busy show) /
Yamaha Motorcycles is launching the new motorcycle in the same way BMW is launching their K1200S; they have their own dedicated website, MT-01.com. They even have chapters of the new motorcycle which they plan to show in a regular fashion, revealing more and more of this beautiful motorcycle. You can subscribe to the newsletter, and win prizes and test rides on the new MT-01. They will be revealing technical details in the next chapter.
Apparently, the MT-01 will feature Yamaha's 1700 cc twin-engine, and the manufacturer will be concentrating on torque & handling, not top speed. Looks like this motorcycle will replace the V-Max.
