We've all seen, or even owned, dirt motorcycles, motocrossers, enduro motorcycles, trail bikes, etc.... but if you're serious about going off-road, here's the ultimate all terrain vehicle; the Hyanide motorcycle ! The design was entered in the Michelin Challenge Design 2006 by Oliver Keller, a 24 year old native from Nurnberg, Germany and Tilmann Schootz, 26, from Frankfurt, Germany. The concept motorcycle used a bendable rubber track instead of rubber tires. This gives the vehicle a maximum traction, the way a tank does. The "motorcycle" is steered by hands and feet. The vehicle can use either a standard fuel based engine, or fuel cells ! The current model uses a 500 cc ATV engine. Now, wouldn't this motorcycle do great in the sand dunes of the Dakar race ??? It looks like something out of Star Wars.... Click here to read more about the entry. (Thanks Greg L.)
