Using the momentum built by the Dakar rally, Team Rally Pan-America, have announced their own sponsorship of the charity organization Wheels 2 Africa. Wheels 2 Africa is an organization that helps to provide 150 motorcycles to Africa by November of 2006. W2A will be helping to deliver these motorcycles in late November of this year. Along with these motorcycles they will include spare parts and service training for these bikes. Once in service, these 150 motorcycles will help literally millions of people by delivering needed medicine and health care to the most remote regions of Africa. The use of dependable motorcycles is a tried and proven method of providing the most needed service in such a remote and rugged region {link}. Team Rally Pan-America, one of the strongest American contenders to win the Dakar (with the surprising Jonathan Street), in cooperation with Wheels 2 Africa, we will unload their race cargo at the end of the race in Dakar. Then the team will load up their assistance trucks with humanitarian aid and medical supplies and drive back into the desert to distribute this to people in need. Great effort guys !!!
