No More Motorcycle Parking At French Airport |

Due to the increased security concerns, all "wild" motorcycle parking is forbidden as off the 25th of July in France's main airport, Roissy Charles de Gaulle.
It used to be that you could just ride up to the entrance of the terminal building, park your motorcycle on the very wide (and never used) sidewalk, and walk the 20 meters to check-in. Heaven !!
No more ! The police have contracted a private firm to remove all motorcycle immediately. Parking is still free for motorcycles in the underground parking garage.
This "reeks" a bit.... if they have real security concerns, why wait until the 25th ??? Does that mean they don't think anyone is going to blow-up their motorcycle before that ??? Although the deputy provincial governor (=Sous-Prefet) responsible for the Airport can not be accused of discriminating against bikers, since he's one himself...
